Aliza Vellani bio

Aliza Vellani is the Canadian actress who lives in British Columbia, is an actor and film director. Vellani gained fame for her latest role in the Netflix show Sweet Tooth as Rani Singh. Aliza vellani is a Vancouver-based Canadian actress, with over ten years experience in Film & TV both in Canada as well as the United States. Vellani has worked on the popular show Little Mosque on the Prairie(CBC), The X-Files (FOX) and Marvel's Super Hero Adventures(Disney+). Nora Allen was born in the years of 2019 between 2024 and 2019 to Barry Allen, Iris West Allen, and Central City. Nora Allen was her paternal grandma. In 2024, Barry disappeared after a battle with Reverse-Flash. He never came back which left Nora to be raised through her maternal grandmother. Vellani is the daughter of Indians from East Africa who immigrated to Vancouver. She began her training from an early age, when she was a student at York House School. Vellani has been awarded the BC and National Istar Awards of Arts and Culture for 2007 and in 2008. Vellani was able to continue her studies in the fields of acting voice, and dance after she graduated high school. The Flash revealed in The Flash's Midseason Finale, that Nora was working against her parents' backs with Eobard who was the Reverse Flash. Vellani originally planned to enroll at OCAD University in order to pursue a degree in the integration of media, however she took on this role. Marvel ultimately became her educational. The remainder of the cast moved in with her to the Atlanta residence.
