Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet community that is located on the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. People who don't understand they mistakenly believe they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually it is this is not the case. West Island includes everything westward of that city Lachine. Amanda Brugel was born there, but her time was not long in the city. Brugel developed on Courtice just outside Oshawa in Ontario. Her initial ambition was to be an actor, however, after a rapid increase in size, her friends weren't able to dance along with her. According to an article in the Toronto Star, she revealed that she wore heels and was 6 foot 1 inch tall. When I surpassed the size of my male companion and stopped dancing, I quit. A lot of former dancers go on to acting, and in Brugel's situation, it was a nudge from the drama instructor at her high school that led her in the right direction. The teacher recommended that she try out for a school production. She tried out and was eventually cast as the leading role of Anne of Green Gables. When she was awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she enrolled in York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2000. In the last 20 years, the roles played by Brugel on television and the big screen have been varied. The role of Rita from the award winning series The Handmaid's Tale was her most notable. Brugel appeared only on rare occasions in the first season of The Handmaid's Tale. She was the only Canadian member.
